This is one of those musical snippets I’ve always been fond of. Phillips, Craig, and Dean are trio of pastors from the States, probably most famously known for their 2009 rendition of “Revelation Song”.
To end the monumental anthem, noodling piano plays through the recurring chord progression, over a bed of whispered prayers as the piece draws to a close. One gets the sense that something extraordinary has just passed by, perhaps similar to how Moses may have felt after God passed him by (see Exodus 33:18-23).
But at any rate, this moment forms an absolutely delightful texture. Noodling though it may be, the piano is rather intricate and poses some slight difficulty at first pass. Observe the YouTube link, and the transcription, below. Transcription begins at 5:11.
